Why should I take a water sample?

I’m worried about e-coli & parasites entering my well water. I have a tap filter,
is this enough to keep it clean, or should we go to a more elaborate system?

This is not enough to keep your water clean. First, we must determine whether you have surface contamination, or if insects are entering your well. If this is the case it can be cured by extending the well casing or replacing the well cap in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment and climate change water well regulation procedures. Our second suggestion would be a UV light or reverse osmosis system. B. Blackburn Ltd provides and installs the required water treatment equipment.

Why does my water smell bad?

Your water has high sulphur levels, an iron guard or sulphur unit would correct your problem.

Yes, we install water softeners, please see our water treatment page to find more

Can I purchase a water softener system without salt?

Yes, you can as long as your PH levels are normal and iron is not present in your water.
